Learning new patterns

Hello everyone,

I posted a new Tangle on Instagram a few days ago. I want to show it here too and I want to write just a little bit about it.
I wanted to learn some new pretty patterns and I haven’t finished working with the book “One Zentangle A Day” by Beckah Krahula. Therefore I decided to continue to work with that book. I drew the following Tangle (it’s very similar to the example in the book even though that wasn’t my intention). The patterns are Finery (middle), Echoism (left) and Flukes (right).
I like these patterns very much and I want to use them in the future.

Status update: What’s next?

Hi everyone πŸ™‚

You haven’t heard from me for a while and I haven’t posted a video in the last few weeks (although I have video material for 3). I want to write about why that is and what I plan for the future.
The important things first: I stopped my correspondence course because it stopped me from making art.
I always had to draw or paint things that I didn’t want to for the course and I had time pressure. That frustrated me and blocked my mind. I had art blocks all the time. That’s why I stopped doing the course. Now I draw/paint what I want and when I want.

Next thing: My videos. I posted a few Scrawlrbox review videos in the last months, but I stopped in December even though I wanted to make one. I even started to record it but then there is this problem. The problem is my cats. They are very noisy when I try to record something and they run across my table like crazy. ThatΒ frustrated me so much, that I didn’t want to make videos anymore in which I am talking. I haven’t record or cut a video since I made that decision, but I’ll continue soon (without my voice in them).

Last thing: I haven’t posted on this blog for a while. I always post my art on Instagram and I try to make a video for YouTube, but I somehow ignore this blog when it’s about creating content. I want to change that. I want that my Instagram Account, my YouTube Account and this blog work together as a unit and that they complement and enrich each other. I hope I can do that. I want to put more effort into this.

Okay, thats everything for this status update. I hope it wasn’t too boring for you and I hope that I can improve this blog in the future.

See you soon,
Fabienne πŸ™‚

Correspondence Course Assignment 4

Hi 😊
Do you remember me writing about that correspondence course assignment that I didn’t want to do and skipped? Guess what~ I finally finished it and I already got my grade. 😁
My grade is much better than I expected it to be. I got an 1.0 (A) πŸŽ‰πŸŽ‰πŸŽ‰

The End of Inktober 2017

Hi everyone 😊

Inktober 2017 has found an end and I couldn’t finish it again (like last year) πŸ˜ƒ but I had a lot of fun and drew a lot. I was very inspired on some days and tried out a lot of different new things.
Now I have to record my Inktober 2017 recap video. 😁

I hope you all had a nice Inktober. ❀️

Inktober Week Three

Hi everyone 😘

I’m late again, but I finished week three of Inktober. πŸŽ‰πŸŽ‰πŸŽ‰
I had some difficulties because I was ill and I couldn’t really draw for a week or so.
I am healthy again, but I have to catch up. I’m still 6 days behind…

How is your Inktober going?
