What is Zentangle?

I mentioned the word Zentangle in my last blog article and some of you might not now, what that exactly means. Therefore, I decided to write an article about Zentangle.

Zentangle is a drawing and relaxation method where you draw different, complex patterns on a 3.5-inch (89 mm) square paper tile. The method was invented by Rick Roberts and Maria Thomas. Sadly I can not describe you exactly how to create Zentangles because the method is protected and may only be taught by certified teachers but there are a few books and blogs by certified teachers wich describe the method. For example, the book “One Zentangle A Day” by Beckah Krahula that I mentioned in my last blog article. You can also read further information about Zentangle on the official website if you are interested.
